House Rules

  • 1. Check-In and Check-Out
    • Check-In: After 3:00 PM
    • Check-Out: By 11:00 AM
    • Late Check-Out: Subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.
  • 2. Occupancy Limits
    • Maximum Occupancy: 10 guests
    • Additional Guests: Not allowed without prior approval.
  • 3. Noise and Neighborhood Respect
    • Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
    • Noise Level: Please keep noise to a minimum to respect neighbors and wildlife.
  • 4. Smoking Policy
    • No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
    • Designated Areas: Smoking is allowed on the deck; please dispose of butts
  • 5. Pets
    • Pets Require Approval: Pets are allowed on the property when approved and included on the reservation with a Pet Fee.
  • 6. Parties and Events
    • No Parties: Events and large gatherings are not allowed.
    • Visitors: Only accounted for guests are allowed on the property.
  • 7. Use of Beach Equipment
    • Provided Equipment: Beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards are available for guest use.
    • Condition: Return equipment in good condition; damaged or lost items may incur charges.
  • 8. Safety and Security
    • Lock Doors and Windows: Always lock doors and windows when leaving the property.
    • Emergency Contacts: In case of an emergency, contact the host immediately or call 911.
  • 9. Garbage and Recycling
    • Trash Disposal: Dispose of trash in the designated bins.
    • Recycling: Please recycle where possible and use the appropriate bins.
  • 10. Kitchen Use
    • Clean Up: Clean dishes, counters, and appliances after use. Start the dishwasher when you are checking out.
    • Food Storage: Do not leave perishable food out to avoid attracting pests.
  • 11. Appliances and Utilities
    • Energy Conservation: Turn off lights and appliances when not in use.
    • Water Usage: Be mindful of water usage; the beach area has limited fresh water resources.
  • 12. Use of Amenities
    • Wi-Fi: Use Wi-Fi responsibly and avoid illegal downloads.
    • BBQ and Grills: Clean BBQ grills after use and ensure they are turned off properly.
  • 13. Beach Access and Safety
    • Beach Towels: please do not use shower towels at the beach.
    • Safety: Be aware of tides and currents; swim at your own risk and follow local guidelines.
  • 14. Fire Safety
    • No Open Flames: No open flames, candles, or fireworks allowed on the property.
    • BBQ Safety: Use the outdoor grill safely pulled away from the wooden deck and ensure it is properly extinguished after use.
  • 15. Property Maintenance
    • Report Issues: Report any damages or maintenance issues immediately.
    • Respect Property: Please treat the house and surroundings with care.
  • 16. Environment
    • Environmental Care: Do not leave trash or belongings on the beach.
  • 17. Liability and Responsibility
    • Guest Responsibility: Guests are responsible for their own safety and belongings.
    • Damages: Guests will be held liable for any damages caused to the property or equipment.
  • 18. Compliance with Laws
    • Local Laws: Comply with all local laws and regulations during your stay.
    • Prohibited Substances: Illegal substances and activities are strictly prohibited.
  • 19. Deck and Balcony Safety
    • Supervise Children: Children must be supervised on decks and balconies.
    • No Climbing: Do not climb or lean on railings for safety.
  • 20. Sand Management
    • Outdoor Shower: Use the outdoor shower or the hose at the front door to rinse off sand before entering the house.
    • No Sand Inside: Please leave sandy shoes and items outside to keep the house clean.
  • 21. Laundry Facilities
    • Usage: Washer and dryer are available for guest use.
    • Instructions: Follow posted instructions for use and do not overload machines.
  • 22. Parking Rules
    • Parking Area: The home can accommodate 4 cars in the driveway, and another could go in the garage
    • Extra Vehicles: You cannot park on the street
